37 years ago, I enjoyed science class, went to church every Sunday, and was just beginning to play tennis. Now I'm an analytical chemist, active at an ELCA Lutheran church, and still play tennis when weather and chores permit. Add to that mix a family, and you can see why I'm happy with my life! Got my degree at Colo State (roomed with Dave Roettjer and Jim Rupprecht for a year there). I lived in Pennsylvania and Boulder for a while before moving back to Colorado Springs, and tried a few things besides chemistry, but always went back to the fun job.
Jean, my wife of 27 years, is a therapist specializing in treatment of hand injuries. Both our boys graduated from CU-Boulder, both are pursuing graduate degrees.
I'm curious to find out what everyone else is doing these days.
