I have really enjoyed reading about the lives and families of friends from our younger days. Thank you to all who have worked so hard to plan and prepare for this event and all who have shared a part of themselves with the rest of us.
Following graduation from Wasson High School, I spent the next four years at CSU (with Ron Bruns being one of my roommates our sophomore year). On my first Sunday at CSU, I met Pam at the Lutheran Campus Chapel. We were married in June of 1972.
While attending CSU, I worked in the Fort Collins King Sooper’s for three years. Shortly after graduating from CSU, I moved into the programming department of King’s parent company; Dillon’s (later to merge with Kroger). I spent the next 27 years working on virtually every computerized mainframe, server, and desktop application utilized in the grocery industry, although I spent about half of that time working with product procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution systems. Pam has worked full time as a mother and owned her own Interior Design business for 18 years, before she went to work as a manufacturers representative for interior doors and kitchen cabinets covering the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona and the city of Las Vegas.

University of Northern Colorado is just starting a career as an insurance agent. Brian married Sara, his high school sweetheart in August 2002 and they presented us with our first and only grandchild Kyleigh, on my dad’s 75th birthday, August 12, 2003. Sara graduated from Denver Lutheran High School, and attended Concordia University, Mequon, WI, but then graduated from the Colorado State University and is teaching 3-year old pre-school at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
I have directed the Adult Handbell Choir for the past 19 years at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Littleton (with my wife, Pam and daughter, Jennifer ringing). I have also served on the LVR Board of Directors working to support and promote the Family Ministry of Lutheran Valley Retreat of the last 10-plus years. Our family has enjoyed many years of camping at LVR. I spend the rest of my time as a full-time independent consultant/contract programmer for the Kroger Company.

May God bless you all as we have been so richly blessed!!
